Methods of payment:
Our online shop uses the PayPal secure payment system. We accept all major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express etc… and debit cards, Maestro, Solo etc… Please follow the onscreen instructions in PayPal carefully when making a payment using this system.
Payment can also be made by cheque in Pounds Sterling £.
Members and account holders of good standing can pay on account. You will receive the invoice with the goods.
In exceptional circumstances we can accept a Euro Cheque or an electronic Payment direct into our bank account. You must arrange with the Sales Office first.
Please note the minimum order is £10.00 when paying by credit or debit card and £3.00 for other payment methods.
Discounts are available on large orders (£500-£999 10%, £1000-£1999 15%, £2000-£2999 20%, £3000 and above 30%). Please contact our sales team for further information.
Security: Our online shop uses the PayPal secure payment system, all credit and debit card Payments are handled by PayPal using their secure system.
IDTA does not store your credit card details.
Delivery: We aim to despatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt. The office operates Monday - Friday normal business hours 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
The system will present the available delivery methods with times and prices so that you can choose your preferred method.
Most UK orders up to 2kg are posted for FREE using 1st class letter post. Above 2kg ParcelForce 48 is used. If you require the goods quickly, select the ParcelForce 24 service for a small additional charge.
Overseas orders are sent by airmail, or Parcel Force (Euro 48 or International Scheduled depending upon destination). If you require a signature at the destination select Airmail International Signed For or a ParcelForce service (all ParcelForce services are tracked). Please allow between 2 and 12 days for delivery depending upon location and service.
There is a discount for airmail parcels between 2kg and 5kg consisting entirely of Printed Paper. Please select this service ONLY if your order contains just printed paper (books, pamphlets, posters) otherwise your order might be delayed.
There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. IDTA (Sales) Ltd is not responsible for paying these charges.
VAT (sales tax): Prices are shown inclusive of VAT. Most of our items are VAT free, however CDs, Audio-tapes, Videos and DVDs are subject of 17.5% VAT for UK and EU customers. Other customers do not pay any sales tax.
VAT registered European customers: Write your VAT (tax) number in the field provided when ordering, to allow us to process your order according to the latest European regulations.
The system will charge you VAT on your first order. If you supply a valid VAT (tax) number we will assign your tax-exempt status and refund your VAT. So long as you use the SAME username in the future the system will no longer charge you VAT.
We charge VAT on ALL orders shipped to UK destinations (except the Channel Islands).
Returns policy: REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN ON FAULTY OR UNOPENED GOODS IF RETURNED TO THE IDTA (SALES) LTD WITHIN 28 DAYS OF ORDER.
Non-UK customers should contact our sales team (email, phone or fax) to advise them if they are returning an item.
