Dancers and Dogs, ‘ The Mutt Cracker’ is a charity calendar produced by teachers and students of The Dance Academy in Limerick, to raise money for two Irish charities, Limerick Animal Welfare and Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, who train dogs to work with children with autism.
The calendar took 3 months, 7 photographers, 5 teachers plus a number of students to produce. We also produced a promotional video. The Dance Academy try to take on a fund raising project each year but this is our biggest to date! We hope to raise €15,000. All proceeds will go the the two causes.
The photos show dancers in different genres, with either rescue or assistance working dogs. They also show the lovely relationship between dogs and humans!!
