To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 the IDTA has produced a souvenir award.
This will be a separate award which can be gained along with any examination from 1st June to 31st December 2022.
For example: a candidate taking Grade 1 Ballet examination will receive the normal certificate and award but can also elect to have a Platinum Jubilee Award on payment of an additional £6.50.
Simple to order
For Ballroom and Freestyle schools, we ask that principals write or print “EA” next to the candidates name on the timetable/results sheet for dance awards (formerly medal tests) and other awards. For Graded examinations please write EA in the top right hand corner of the report form.
For Theatre schools, we ask that principals write “EA” on the top right hand corner of the report forms.
The Jubilee Award is a 7cm diameter medal, boxed in a display case.
What If I don’t have an exam session booked?
Good news! The IDTA have decided that if you are not holding an examination session between 1st June and 31st December 2022, you can order Jubilee Awards separately, by emailing Jason Fox at j.fox@idta.co.uk
