The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation needs you!

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation ran it’s very own version of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing event for the past two years and the event has developed and improved annually. In 2012, the event, hosted by Celebrity Big Brother’s Tricia Penrose, took place in the magnificent surroundings of St George’s Hall and welcomed 9 competing couples and over 420 social dancers. The event raised over £12,000 – a sum of money that will provide hope and help to patients and families living with lung cancer.

This year’s event will take place in St George’s Hall on Sunday 17th November 2013; 11 new and eager contestants have been confirmed and the charity needs male dancers to help to choreograph and teach female contestants a dance routine. We ask that each professional dancer donates a minimum of ten hours to choreograph. Studio space can be provided free of charge if necessary.

In exchange we will be able to offer associated dance teachers or schools:
Promotion on our website: all contestants and professionals are listed on the website and we include a direct hyper-link to your dance school’s website
Promotion at the event: through verbal acknowledgment in the script and in the souvenir brochure that is available to all guests on the night
The opportunity to host an exhibition table at the event to further promote your dance school to over 400 guests with a genuine interest in dance
