BBC Young Dance 2015

The BBC has been working with Sadler’s Wells on the BBC Young Dance 2015, as part of the BBC’s commitment to the support of emerging talent and wish all participants to come away from the experience feeling that it has been helpful in their development as dancers.

For more information, including how to enter and you can call us on 02920 323900 or go to the website www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p023t1xz

Dancers can request feedback from the judges; they will be mentored and guided by some of the leading names in dance and those who reach the Grand Final will work with a choreographer to create a new piece especially for them.

The Category Finals will take place in March 2015 and six will go through to dance on the main stage at Sadler’s Wells at the BBC Young Dancer Grand Final on 9th May.

The BBC is delighted that Carlos Acosta has taken on the role of Ambassador and that many of the leading names in dance have agreed to be involved as judges, choreographers or mentors. The judges for the Grand Final are: Matthew Bourne, Akram Khan, Wayne McGregor, Tamara Rojo, Kenrick Sandy and Alistair Spalding.
