Following the Government announcement on 16th March, the Winter Gardens, in Blackpool took the decision to close from 17th March until further notice. The team at the Winter Gardens is working hard to try to assist all its clients who have bookings with them, including the IDTA.
We can now confirm that the IDTA Nationwide Ballroom & Latin Finals have been rescheduled from 4th & 5th April 2020 to Tuesday 28th & Wednesday 29th July 2020.
While we appreciate that not everyone may be able to attend, we hope that by offering this change of date the majority of our medalist competitors and their families can attend and enjoy the event.
As you can appreciate in these exceptional circumstances, which no one could foresee or have any control over, we only had two options: reschedule or cancel the event.
We recommend that you contact the travel companies and the hotels you have booked with to reschedule your bookings.
If there are any further updates from the Government or from the Winter Gardens which affect these new dates we will advise you as soon as we can.
