Dance teachers are required to comply with copyright legislation as a result of using recorded and live music in their dance classes. The IDTA wants to support its members and is working with the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET) and PRS for Music to address and simplify the process of music licensing for those using recorded music in the teaching of dance.
By completing the survey via the link below and letting us know how you use music as part of your dance teaching business will help the IDTA to meet the needs of its membership.
CDET will be collating the information received from all participating organisations, please note that your details and responses will remain confidential. Please note the deadline for completing the survey is Friday 28th June.
Thank you for your assistance.
